signed XULINLU,inscribed,and with three seals of the artist dated Yichou year（1985） ink and color on paper，hanging scroll Xu Linlu was a renowned Chinese painter,calligrapher,and art connoisseur.He became known for his expressive paintings that focused on nature.In his over 60-year career,Xu studied the works of renowned painters from each dynasty,in particular the techniques of Shi Tao,Bada Shanren,Zhao Zhiqian,and Wu Changshuo.The artist died at the age of 95 on August 9,2011 in Beijing,China.
