This lot may have appeared in Barcelona, then disappeared, now it's back again.Wee to Antiques & Moore This listing is for a lovely Chinese cloisonne enamel on bronze lidded ginger jar with elaborate enamel design and open work background, c. 1920's. There are multiple horizontal decorative bands surrounding the body of the vase with multiple motifs in the predominate colors of blue, green, brick red and pink. The base is covered with a thick layer of turquoise enamel. The interior has a dty turquoise coloration with a satin finish. The dome shaped lid has a bronze foo dog or lion finial handle on top. Measures 8 1/2" high, approximately 7 1/2" in overall width with a 4 3/8" diameter top and a 4 1/4" diameter base. Weighs 2.10 pounds. This nice ginger jar/vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There may be some tiny pits in the enamel that we did not notice as this happens consistently during that firing process, however, we didn't notice any flaws at all.
