曹锟，字仲珊，出生于天津大沽口，是中华民国初年直系军阀的首领，曾靠贿选而被选举为第五任中华民国大总统。卢沟桥事变后拒绝日本所请，出面组织新政府，保持了民族气节。1939年12月被国民政府追赠为陆军一级上将军衔。
