A BRONZE FIGURE OF A DAOIST DIGNITARY, MING DYNASTY China, 1368-1644. The seated dignitary with his right hand holding a small double gourd vase, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes, mustache, beard, whiskers and courtly headdress.

Condition: Good condition with old wear and casting flaws, shallow surface scratches, small nicks and dents, minor losses and a small repair to the backside. The interior with cuprite encrustation. Remnants of gilding.
