A GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF A LAMA, 17TH-18TH CENTURY Tibet. Heavily cast seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, the right hand lowered in bhumisparsa mudra and the left held in dhyana mudra, dressed in a vest and billowing sanghati with neatly incised patterned hems, the folds gathered over the ankles, the serene face finely cold-painted with a meditative expression marked by heavy-lidded eyes, arched brows, and full lips. The base sealed, the seal plate inset with a gilt medallion, cast with a double-vajra in relief.

Provenance: From the collection of an artist and university professor in Vienna. The base with an old merchant label, ‘Ref. 540. CR$ […]’.
Condition: Good condition with some wear and casting flaws, minuscule nicks, light scratches, small dents, some rubbing to gilt, minor loss to pigment.

十七至十八世紀鎏金銅喇嘛像
西藏，喇嘛結觸地印，以冥想姿勢坐在雙層蓮花座上，身著敞右肩僧服，衣紋整齊，褶皺聚攏至腳踝，面容安詳，帶有沉思的表情，眼睛微閉，眉毛微攏，嘴唇豐滿。底座封口，封底有雙金剛杵紋。

來源: 維也納一位藝術家、大學教授的收藏。底座上可見商家標籤，“Ref. 540. CR$ […]“。
品相: 品相良好，一些磨損和鑄造瑕疵，微小的刻痕，小凹痕，鎏金處有磨損，輕微的色彩損失。
