A STUCCO HEAD OF BUDDHA, GANDHARA 3^rd-4^th century. Sensitively carved with a serene expression marked by heavy-lidded eyes and full lips, the wavy hair gathered in a domed topknot.

Condition: Fair condition, commensurate with age. Extensive wear, losses, encrustations, signs of weathering and erosion, minor nicks, scratches, possibly minor old repairs.
