A SMALL SANDSTONE FIGURE OF A FEMALE DEITY, ANGKOR PERIOD Khmer Empire, 10^th century. Seated atop a square base with the hands clasped together in front below her voluptuous breasts, her serene face with almond-shaped eyes below ridged brows, full lips, the hair pulled up into a conical chignon behind the foliate tiara.

Condition: Very good condition, commensurate with age. Extensive wear, signs of weathering and erosion, losses, nicks, scratches, encrustations, few structural cracks.
