此对为白玉质，温润细腻，薄胎工艺。器呈镂雕圆环形，四面出脊，器表一面碾琢两三条龙绞缠环绕，形为一体，圆眼，上唇上卷，身以几何纹填充，刻画细腻，背面光素平整。整器纹饰布局合理，抛光精良，上有穿孔，可供穿系佩挂。西周时期，佩玉之风开始盛行。《说文》云：“珮，所以象德也。”并把玉拟人化，开始把玉与君子的品性联系在一起。《诗经·秦风·小戎》云：“言念君子，温其如玉。”
