A Japanese Satsuma ware vase,Meiji period (1868-1912), by Kinkozan, of ovoid form, finely decorated in enamels and gilt, with figures in shaped panels, all reserved on a midnight-blue ground with sprays of sakura blossoms, signed in gilt to base, with 'Kinkozan, Kyoto' label to base, 8.5cm high, original wood box labelled 'S. Kinkozan, Manufacturer of Fine Porcelain, Kyoto, Japan, Established 1645'Vase - Kinkozan label fallen off but still included with the lot. Traces of glue on top of mark.Wood box - label damaged with tears and losses. Silk liner tired with stains, tears and holes. One hinge missing pin.
