A pair of Japanese cloisonné vases,Meiji period (1868-1912), each tapering body rising from an everted foot to a flared rim, finely enamelled with birds among irises and maple trees or pines in the moonlight, in shaped panels with dragon borders, surrounded by chrysanthemum and scrolls against a sky-blue ground, the rim and foot rim mounted with silver,31cm high (2)Surface scratches to foot rim.
