Painted with a scene of a muse playing a tambourine with the young Cupid sitting on her knee. The lid with a traveller resting beneath the tree, the saucer with a large bouquet. This depiction of a Muse is based on François Boucher s work "La muse Terpsichore", painted for Madame de Pompadour in 1756 and reproduced in an engraving by Jean Daullé.来源: Provenance The Hiemisch collection, acquired in 1982.
