Description

Model no. 1054. Decorated with stylised flowerhead motifs in small rectangular surrounds between blue borders. Frederick William III gave his niece Marie Elisabeth of Prussia (1815 - 1885) a service on the occasion of her wedding to Prince Karl of Hesse-Darmstadt (1809 - 1877) on 22nd October 1836, a large part of which was auctioned by Fischer, Lucerne on 6th July 1925 as the "property of former ruling princes and their families".
