清代中期，黄铜质，薄胎，三足圆鼎式。立耳，小折沿，鼎腹铸有锦地变体饕餮纹，鼎腹有分裆式遗存，依分裆区域，纹饰区分为三组饕餮纹。腹折收不垂，下接三柱足，足铸接，中空。整体铸工细腻精湛，无流铜浑范，通体青灰色黑漆古皮壳，古雅凝重。
分裆饕餮纹鼎为自宋以来仿古式样常见者，其中谱载《宣和博古图》中之“商父巳鼎”“商若癸鼎”，谱载《宁寿鉴古》之“商戊巳鼎”“周举鼎”等均为此类三足分裆鼎，以鼎腹分裆成三组饕餮兽面纹，自宋以来，饕餮纹之演变亦十分丰富。此鼎之锦地、饕餮之眼、耳、眉均有不同程度的变形。整体气势雄浑大气，体量宏大，是为旧时配之以座盖，用于厅堂条案正中陈设，以彰显尚古庄重韵味
