Of circular form, brightly enamelled to the front with nine sinuous five-clawed dragons, each in a different colour, all on a dense ground of clouds, ribbons of flame and flaming pearls, encircled by a band of ruyi heads, a border of auspicious objects on a lotus scroll ground, and a meander pattern border at the rim, the reverse decorated with three floral sprays, the glazed base with the six character mark Guangxu in underglaze blue.
