陈旧村（1898-1958），名永，字旧村，一字树云、如云，又字蕴石，江苏无锡县人。抗战后寓居苏州，住司长巷。幼时读书于无锡张泾桥，图画一科成绩冠全校，因出身贫苦，常以树叶子榨成绿色，赭石块磨成粉加水成赭红色而涂沫，为师生所感动。精鱼藻，有“陈金鱼”之誉。 陈负苍（1906-1984），名凤，字负苍。江苏无锡人，师从王云轩，与孙葆羲、陈旧村、邓季超、蔡光甫同为鹤巢门下五大高足，三十年代与钱松嵒、陈旧村等创办振南国画函授学校，广招学员，传授绘艺。工书，工山水人物，花鸟走兽,尤精仕女。
