拍品形制精巧端秀，饱满规整，上下盖子母口相合。通体以青花为饰，盒盖以缠枝莲纹绕双弦纹，内绘神龙矫健飞扬，极富动感，笔法简疏灵快，颇具特色。
元青花绘画龙有须，发俱全，头部稍大，张口吐舌，形态矫健凶猛，云游四方。景德镇元代龙的形态有行龙、立形龙、回首龙、正面龙，奠定了龙纹作为元明清传统纹饰图案的基本形式。
云与海水纹出现最多，表现龙行于天地之间，云游四方，着重表现龙矫健磅礴、呼风唤雨的气势。少数有单龙戏珠者。如意云头、莲瓣、花卉与龙纹组合则更具有装饰性。整体品相保存尚佳，尤为珍贵。
