紫檀材质，作长方臂搁，一侧边缘为书卷式，较常规臂搁更显灵巧文雅。一面刻绘花卉博古图，另面刻有诗文“歪瓶雅称菊枝斜，花与真花颇不差。持去卖钱偿酒债，那知秋色落谁家”，落款“岁次壬子秋日颐公写于白沙旅馆”，钤印“寿民”。“壬子”为清雍正十年（1732年）作者时年48岁。 边寿民（1684年—1752年），初名维祺，字颐公，又字渐僧、墨仙，号苇间居士，江苏山阳人（今淮安区），晚号苇间老民、绰翁、绰绰老人，清代著名画家。善画花鸟、蔬果和山水，尤以画芦雁驰名江淮，有“边芦雁”之称。其泼墨芦雁，苍浑生动，朴古奇逸，极尽飞鸣、食宿、游泳之态。又工诗词、精中国书法。和郑板桥、金农等人齐名。
