普巴忿怒莲师，藏名为“咕乍叽拉呀”，咕乍即“咕噜乍波”，译为忿怒莲师，而 “叽拉呀”即为普巴金刚，顾名思义，此尊即为忿怒莲师与普巴金刚的合一化身，属无上瑜珈部的父续本尊法。 大持明忿怒莲师身残红色如末劫火，张开大口，獠牙锋利。上颚有日轮辅音字母，舌尖，发出如千雷齐鸣般巨响。红圆三目，发须眉如火燃，右手持九钴金质金刚杵扬于虚空，左手捉十八足螫铁蝎子向一切恶毒者。头挂新鲜湿人首鬘，头戴五骷冠，身披象皮、人皮、虎皮及黑蛇索链等严饰。背有双金刚宝翼展相，下身为鳄鱼口三棱单尖的天铁普巴杵，十分锐利，而杵尖插於魔心。
