Antique Japanese box covered with bronze/brass decorative elements. Looks to be Meiji/Taisho, though the bronze/brass items may be earlier. There are a few missing and the box has a few dings. Appears as if someone may have collected the bronze/brass pieces and attached them to the box as a way to display them. Box measures 4.5" tall, 10.5" wide, 6" deep.
