This is an extremely charming Post Pagan provincial terracotta Buddha head. The features are so unusual that it almost looks monkey like, with a flat forehead and crown, floppy ears, and protruding lips. It has losses and wear , as can be seen in the photos. The original piece would have been extremely imposing. I've never seen another like it. Head is 5" tall, total height is 7"
