Rare early Burmese Buddha from the late Pyu period. In the range of 1000 years old (9th to 11thC). Sits happily 4.25 inches tall - Very uncommon-especially with such a sweet, loving face, wonderful patina, and in such good overall condition (only issues: the nose is a bit flattened and much of the bottom edge filed flat so that it sits stably).
