Beautiful 18thC Mongolian copper repousse torso of Buddha or Bodhisattva. Nice size - 5.75" tall, 8.75 inches on custom stand. Superb, complex, and sophisticated- would have been a world class piece. Probably destroyed when the Russians marched through and destroyed over 1000 temples in a day in the 1920's. Found with a metal detector in the 1990's.
