Rare 17/18thC Javanese Bell in a delightful folk style. No clapper inside, but has a nice tone when struck. Great old patina. Great folk art! Original ringer missing, though loop inside remains. Multiple figures on the bell (and 2 dragons with entwined tails and with heads in the central figure's lap) all look to be wax cast. This piece took significant time, care, and talent to make. , Large at 8 inches tall, and quite heavy, 11 inches tall on custom stand.
