Chinese Bronze Hotai/Putai or "Happy Buddha". This is an extremely sweet and kind example, with one of the most loving faces I can remember seeing this type of statue in a long time. Really well done, with a really nice patina. A really good size at 7 inches tall by 6 inches wide by 4 inches deep. Larger than the dimensions sound as he is like a little Baseball. (Thank goodness he is relatively thinly cast as otherwise, he would be extremely heavy. Still, he is quite substantial. A personal favorite.
