Vintage Mid-Century Modern; Alessandro Albrizzi designed and hand made World Globe floating in a Cube-Form Ice Bucket in cast, polished, and frosted transparent acrylic (perspex), the top held in place by a orbiting Northern Hemisphere satellite (or the Moon); added to the outside edge of cover is the logo for Pirelli for a high-end corporate promotion probably circa 1970's. Height & width 7 1/4 inches cubic square (18.5 cm.). NOTE: Venetian born Baron Alessandro Albrizzi (1934-1994) opened his first shop in 1968 at One Sloan Square in London and his high quality transparent furniture and accessories quickly became international status symbols. He designed all the original Harry Cipriani Restaurants and their Bartender Logo.
