按 语：丹东石，产于辽宁鞍山市岫岩县，因岫岩县曾归属丹东市而得名，与莱州石同属一矿脉。色多青、绿、青灰、灰黑等，以深绿或翠绿者佳，称为“丹东绿冻”。
此石质坚韧，通灵富有光泽，雕琢荷塘情趣题材最适合不过。荷叶舒卷，上托莲蓬，莲子颗颗可见。右侧一只青蛙四肢舒展，做跳跃状，灵活的探出头，其头部恰为巧色而雕，色白通透。整件器物莹润通透又有光感，颇为生动。
