此盒由鸡木打造而成，整体呈长方盒状，用材厚重，色泽深重，为典型的清代宫廷御用家具。此盒满饰雕工，繁复精美，图案较为罕见。盒盖高浮雕云龙纹，二龙戏珠纹浮于其上，盒正背面亦有二龙戏珠纹饰，爪有力道，龙身矫健威猛，穿行于缭绕的祥云之间，皇家之气，扑面而来。
