Indian school, 19th century Indian school, 19th century A hunting scene; Five soldiers two, gouache on paper 18 x 10.5cm and 20 x 11cm, each in a glazed frame (2) Provenance: Acquired by the vendor's grandparents during their time in Pakistan in the 1960s, thence by descent. Condition Report: Frame sizes 36.5 x 27 cm and 27 x 37 cm. Hunting scene - some light craquelure to paint. One tear/rip to the upper right-hand side of 25mm. Soldiers - some smudging to script. Apparent repair to rip upper right-hand side. Slight foxing to front and back.
