白玉质，呈扁平体，局部黄褐沁色。以多层镂雕、透雕技法刻画云龙纹，龙身穿梭云间，呈蜿蜒舞动之姿，细颈曲折，锯齿形背鳍，身躯鳞甲分明，肩部饰火焰纹，趾爪粗壮有力。画面满密紧凑，主次分明，走刀娴熟，风格雄健，显示出非凡的艺术风范和高超的工艺水准。此器最精彩处在于多层镂雕的运用，带来了很强的立体感。龙身韧而不断，走势既具动势又富韵律，实为点睛之笔。其纹饰构成复杂，繁而不乱，下层纹饰的磨制上相当讲究，为同类作品所不能比拟，龙纹与云层间具有了相互迭压的空间层次，增强了作品的表现力，璀璨夺目，气韵动人。
