A Chinese export gilt-lacquered tea caddy, 19th century, of octagonal form on four paw feet, painted in gilt against a black ground, with figures in a garden within dragon borders, the interior with engraved pewter canisters, stoppers and lids with bone finials, 20cm long Condition Report Pewter boxes with surface scratches and dents, small holes to edges, finials possibly replaced. Lacquer with cracks and scratches, gilt losses. Box with small dents, small chips to edges, four feet restored with screws. Key missing.
