A Frisian silver brandy bowl Oval base supporting a lobed bowl with handles designed as amoretti with flowers. The base inset with a Swedish mark dated 1693. Monogrammed "A.J. N.B." and "D.H.". H 6.5; W 25.5; D 13.3 cm, weight 219 g. Unmarked, early 18th C. Literature Cf. Johan ter Molen, Fries Goud en Zilver, Bornmeer 2014, vol. II, no. 186 Friesische Branntweinschale Silber. Ovaler Fuß und tiefe, schwach gebuckelte Schale; die gegenständigen gegossenen Handhaben mit durchbrochenen Darstellungen spielender Amoretten und Blumen.
