A Parisian silver plate Smooth plate with slender palmette rim. Engraved in the centre with a coat-of-arms with the collar of the Guelfic Order and the device "NEC ASPERA TERRENT". D 30.5 cm, weight 1,055 g. Marks of Martin-Guilleaume Biennais, 1815 - 1818. Provenance Private collection, Berlin. Pariser Teller Silber. Flacher Teller mit glattem Spiegel; der schmale Rand mit reliefiertem Palmettfries. Auf der Fahne ein graviertes Wappen mit der Collane des Guelphen-Ordens und Devise "NEC ASPERA TERRENT". Marken: Pariser Garantie für Feingehalt 950, 1809 - 1819 (Rosenberg Nr. 6573, 6588), MZ Martin-Guilleaume Biennais (1794 - nach 1832, Beuque Nr. 2493), zusätzlich graviert "Biennais".
