An early Meissen porcelain tea caddy with Hoeroldt Chinoiseries Of hexagonal section, the six edges accentuated by gold ribs, each of the faces decorated with Chinoiserie figures with birds and insects. With matching lid. Unglazed unmarked base. Minor wear to the gilding, the inner rim of the lid with some flat chips. H 9.7, H with lid 10 cm.
