|华君武（b.1915 ）美术活动家，漫画家。别名华潮，祖籍江苏无锡，1915年4月24日生于浙江杭州。华君武的漫画，早年长于政治时事漫画，富有战斗性，在革命战争中发挥了很大的宣传鼓动作用。后期以讽刺画为主，辛辣地讽刺了社会上种种丑陋、落后现象。构思巧妙，入木三分，富有幽默感历任《人民日报》美术组长、文学艺术部主任，中国美术家协会秘书长、书记处书记、常务书记、副主席、顾问，中国文联委员、书记处书记等职务。
