Description
Translation provided by Youdao
Description Formerly with eight arms, the trunk held to the left, one hand held in vitarkamudra, the other resting on his thigh, the attributes in the two other visible hands lo longer identifiable. The head adorned with strings of pearls, a naga wraps itself around the body. Mounted. Ganesha is known as the Remover of Obstacles and the more arms he has, the more effective his work. Visually his multiple arms enhance the dynamism of his rhythmic dance.
