Description An elegant gathering of scholars. Horizontal scroll, decpicted is probably the Confucian scholar Ma Rong seated under a red gauze curtain and gathering his students to teach them, accompanied by ladies playing music. Ink and colours on silk. Inscribed Wuxing Qian Xuan and sealed Qian Xuan zhi yin. Two collector`s seals (unread) at the beginning of the scroll.
