Description Painted with a hare pounding mochi and standing on clouds in finely drawn black lacquer lines. Inscription reading: gyonen nanajûnana so (old man at the age of 77 years) Zeshin. The base lacquered black. Small silver lacquer repairs to the rim evoking mochi-sprinkles.
