Joaquim Mir i Trinxet made visits to the Andorran valleys between 1932-1934, thanks to the invitation of the monks of the Monastery of Montserrat who had a house there. During the time he spent there, he knew how to reflect the light, beauty and color of Andorran landscapes in his oil paintings.
