说明：佛首为白玉所制，玉质润洁细腻，面形椭圆，眼眉细长，直鼻小口，面容秀美端庄，螺髻饱满高耸，带有隋唐佛教造像特征。在中国玉器史上，玉质文房用具出现在距今一千多年的宋辽时期，例如浙江衢州南宋史绳祖墓中就出土了玉笔山、兔形玉镇、玉墨瓶、玉笔洗等；内蒙奈曼旗辽陈国公主墓里出土了玉砚。这些玉质文房用具的出现与当时书画艺术的成熟以及文人以崇尚和追求美玉来抒发闲情逸致的风气有关。
