说明：此像表现了释迦牟尼佛诞生时的形象。佛经记载，佛祖经过兜率天降生、白象入胎、住胎说法，而于摩耶夫人右肋降生。佛祖降生后，即向东西南北各行七步，步步生莲，并以左手指天，右手指地，同时做大狮子吼：天上地下，唯我独尊。佛祖呈现童子模样，方头大耳，表情纯真。面部鼻梁与眉宇相连，双目直视前方，唇边带有笑意，灵性非凡。上身穿有肚兜，左臂弯曲向上抬起，左手伸食指指向空中，右手自然下垂，两腿呈直立姿态，站于莲座之上。整像铜质色泽温润，造型生动，气韵古雅，展现出佛祖诞生时的庄严法相，颇为精妙，堪称上品。
