说明：经板也叫护经板或压经板，在过去的作用在于对珍贵经书的保护，分上下两层，夹经书于其间，通常上面一层带工或画，下面一层素板或简工。已知的经板一般分为雕板、画板、镶板等三种类，本件即为雕板，东、南、西、北、中五方属于中国传统的方位认知，同样存在于佛教的宇宙模式。佛教认为这五方分别存在着五佛刹土，即五佛分别所主之世界，与之相对应，还存在着五度母。此板雕刻精美，正面雕刻五度母，四周有直线隔出长方形界栏，外层为异兽以及柔美的卷草装饰。内容丰富，布局有序，品相一流，精美无双。
