此器底胎以铁制成，长方形口沿，上置盝顶盖，盖面浅浮雕团状的云气纹，盖顶中央蹲坐着一只狻猊，形如雄狮，其性喜烟好坐，故多出现在香炉上，随之吞烟吐雾。炉体同样遍饰云气纹，左右两侧立双朝冠耳，正面则置铜地开光，黑素地上浮雕花卉枝叶，色彩搭配充满自然的美感。下腹略收，腹底立祥云形短足，小巧的四足稳稳托起敦实的炉身，形成一种对比的意味，妙趣横生。
