款识：顾景舟（底款）、景舟（盖款）此壶是由壶艺泰斗顾景舟所制，精炼上等紫泥，泥色朱红，胎质温润。壶身仿生竹节，自上至下，逐渐变大；壶钮为竹枝形。轮廓明朗，曲线张劲有力，于拙朴中见纤巧。充份表现精、气、神、韵之美，实为顾氏茶器中茶道首选佳器。
顾景舟（1915-1996），原名景洲。别称：曼希、瘦萍等。自号壶叟、老萍。中国工艺美术大师。其在壶艺上的成就极高，技巧精湛，且取材甚广。可说是近代陶艺家中最有成就的一位，所享的声誉可媲美明代的时大彬，世称“一代宗师”“壶艺泰斗”。
