宫灯呈四边形，通体镂雕工艺。顶作官帽状，四面镂雕缠枝花卉纹饰，上置一主挂钩，起稳固保护作用。中部作亭台型制。中部攒框，外设立柱四根，雕以缠枝纹饰。下呈底座。此对紫檀宫灯装饰繁缛，制作工艺精湛，包浆莹润自然，是不可多得的精品佳作。此宫灯形制同北京故宫博物院养心殿东暖阁宝座上方之宫灯相似。
