3 Vase Chinese 18th Century Porcelain Export Garniture, a pair and 1 slightly taller, the bulbous body decorated with crossed cornucopia and shells with bugs and flowers between bands of bead and flower swags to neck and high foot, with gold & iron red petal borders to mouths and foot and fully modeled gilt Dragon handles from sides to shoulders, the slightly taller vase with a domed cover with seated Fu Dog Finial in gold and iron red. Height of larger vase with cover 11 1/2 inches (29.2 cm.). PROVENANCE: Purchased from Matthew & Elizabeth Sharpe Antiques, Spring Mill, Conshohocken, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and each vase and the cover with their label dating the set to 1775 and notations about the restorations; to the Lifetime Collection of a Pennsylvania Collector.
