此件为汶洋石材质，密结细腻，石上一层焦黄色，为汶洋石特有之色质。黄色处刻龙腾水波，水波纹柔中见刚、富有弹性，细密而又受石色烘托，显得更加立体，颇能还原龙腾水中，海面波涛澎湃之景。全作整体结构分为两个区块，其一为水波龙腾，其一则为陈达先生落“浩然独存”四字。颇有风云千载，我独浩然之风。转看龙与水波，便有一番抒发胸臆之气的文人调子。
