朝珠是清朝官员服饰中的一种佩挂物，根据官品大小和地位高低，用珠和绦色都有区别。朝珠是由佛念珠衍化而来，是清代官服特有的佩饰。 此串朝珠主体以红宝石碾琢而成，中以一粒翠色珠相隔，其色泽与朝珠之红对比强烈。蓝色丝绦串嵌红宝石和大坠饰。朝珠两侧另有小珠三串，称作“纪念”，每串十颗翡翠小珠，小珠下设坠角。108颗朝珠象征一年十二个月，二十四节气和七十二候；4个佛头象征四季；下垂于背后的佛头，背云，寓意“一元复始”；三串纪念称为“三台”，寓意生命高贵。
