释迦牟尼坐像螺发密布，宝珠顶严，髻珠圆凸。五官刻画精致，阴刻线条完美地衬托出脸部的细节。脸型宽平，呈“国”字脸。两颊丰盈，颇有肉感，面相安静祥和。全跏趺坐。左手于脐前结禅定印，右手扶膝施触地印。衲衣缘錾刻缠枝花卉，衣料质感较强，纹褶曲转自如。莲座为双层束腰仰覆莲座，饰有两道连珠，莲瓣挺拔饱满，内层莲瓣饰有卷草纹。此尊释迦牟尼佛坐像刻画极为华丽写实，气度不凡，雍容华贵，为典型的明代造像精品。
