释文: 此洗通体施白釉，釉面宝莹细润。器身以胭脂彩绘云龙纹，线条顺快流畅、色泽明艳动人、造型栩栩如生，洗心绘团龙纹，辅以祥云，龙身修长飘逸，五爪刚劲有力。胭脂红不同于以往御窑厂制瓷时所用的铜红和矾红，它是一种以金着色、带有紫色调的粉红色，由于釉中含金，因此也常被人称为“金红”。出现于康熙晚期，亦称“蔷薇红”、“洋金红”、“玫瑰红”，为低温彩釉，浅淡者为胭脂红，浓重者又称“胭脂紫”。它是引入西洋配釉法，在红釉中加金以低温烧成，早期多施于薄胎白釉器上，施釉较薄，以便发色及流釉均匀，督窑官唐英在《陶成记事碑》中称之为“西洋紫色”。
