A WHITE AND GRAY JADE GROUP OF A LION AND CUB, LATE MING TO EARLY QING DYNASTYChina, 17th to 18th century. The recumbent mother lion carved from the white portion of the translucent stone with the tail curled along the body, holding a ball in its paws, the grimacing face with large bulging eyes and snarling mouth pierced for suspension, so to be worn as a pendant.
